Alek Rybczynski - The Green Deal and the War

This will not stop those who govern the world and fight against ‘climate change’ from waging war ‘until victory’, killing soldiers and civilians, and causing unimaginable destruction to the environment, cities and the heritage of entire nations

Polish patriots have long deceived themselves that the government in Warsaw would defend the interests of the state and direct its policies for the good of the nation. It turned out that—as in most Western countries—politicians only play an administrative role, servilely carrying out the orders of "Deep State"(absent from the media space and the consciousness of the average citizen) directing the world towards a catastrophic restriction of freedoms, enslavement and actions that clearly indicate that the main goal of the globalists is depopulation.

How does the "green deal" agenda and the obsessive fight against climate change relate to this insane policy?

The last few years have been a constant thrashing of the topic of the war in Ukraine and climate change. On the propaganda peripheries, an equally dangerous war is being waged in the Middle East. Politicians and the media are maneuvering, reporting on the war in the Gaza Strip and the conflict with Iran, as if they were not yet sure whose side to take.

Despite the ongoing wars that threaten the security of not only Europe, aggressive moods are being fuelled, convincing society that the duty of the so-called "free world" is to send weapons, money, train soldiers and send “human resources”—the cannon fodder to the bloody war with Russia "until victory".

How does the "green deal" agenda and the obsessive fight against climate change relate to this insane policy?

The past year was marked by European farmers' protests. Their wave swept across the entire continent: protests were paralyzing roads, demanding changes to laws leading to the destruction of agriculture. That resembled the great outburst of the Canadian Freedom Convoy, awakening hope and giving courage to helpless citizens. Convoys of agricultural tractors passed through France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Poland, among others.

Climate NeutralitySustainable MobilityEnergy Transition

Mostly, the protests were against the rising costs of production, plans to withdraw tax breaks, unfair competition from Ukrainian agriculture, managed mainly by powerful corporations and oligarchs, who do not comply with basic food standards and drastically lower the prices and quality of products. In Italy, the protests concerned the EU's agricultural policy, which leads to the expropriation of land for renewable energy installations and to an increase in production costs. In the Netherlands, the protests were against the liquidation of cattle farms, under the pretext of limiting nitrogen emissions (!) The real reason for the wave of protests was however The European Green Deal, a comprehensive strategy aimed at making Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. Its goals encompass a wide range of environmental and economic objectives, including among others:

climate neutrality and achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, restoring damaged ecosystems and promoting sustainable land use, reducing air, water, and soil pollution to levels that are no longer harmful to health and natural ecosystems; sustainable mobility, which means transition to a sustainable transport system that reduces emissions and promotes so called cleaner alternatives; energy transition - sharing of renewable energy in the energy mix, which translates to aggressive promotion of harmful wind farms and solar energy.

We are observing a desperate attempt to save "Mother Earth" at the cost of an increasingly suppressed and taxed population

The most bizarre is to effectively reduce carbon footprints, where individuals are told to adopt several lifestyle changes: adopting a plant-based diet, including consuming “protein rich” insects and bugs, avoiding air travel, living car-free: choosing not to own or use a car, have fewer children, reducing food waste, opting for quality, sustainable clothing or shop second-hand to decrease waste and the carbon footprint associated with clothing production…

These crazy ideas are consistently implemented, tested on societies that seem to have no patience and submission limit.

Even some banks offer clients applications that calculate how to reduce the "carbon footprint" in everyday life.

We are observing a desperate attempt to save "Mother Earth" at the cost of an increasingly suppressed and taxed population, at the cost of unreasonable restrictions and sacrifices of residents. In Poland, walking on sidewalks has become a real challenge, because "Easy riders" on electric scooters and bicycles rush along them at great speed. Many people have already been convinced that this is the best way to get around.

How is it possible that with such drastic methods of reducing emissions, wars are being waged at the same time, which must cause a thousand times more pollution than cars burning ecological petrol and cows excreting gases to the detriment of humanity?

The military sector is a major contributor to global greenhouse gas emissions

The military sector is a major contributor to global greenhouse gas emissions. It is estimated that if the U.S. military were a nation, it would rank as the 47th largest emitter of greenhouse gases worldwide. Reports indicate that military activities have accounted for approximately 1.2 billion metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions since the onset of various conflicts, which is equivalent to the annual emissions produced by millions of passenger vehicles. Globally, militaries are estimated to generate around 6% of all CO2 emissions.

To better illustrate these abstract data, it is worth noting the details, which indicate, for example, that tanks burn, depending on the manufacturer, from 100-300 litres of gasoline per 100 kilometers (which means up to 1 mile per gallon).

It can be safely assumed that these data come from before the war in Ukraine and the Middle East broke out and the numbers are certainly significantly underestimated.

This will not stop those who govern the world and fight against ‘climate change’ from waging war ‘until victory’, killing soldiers and civilians, and causing unimaginable destruction to the environment, cities and the heritage of entire nations.

Alek Rybczynski, CFP's Poland Reporter——

I am a Polish Canadian poet, writer, journalist, editor and videographer. I have published many poetry books, and received prestigious awards, including best poetry book debut in Poland. In Canada, I  published the literary and arts magazine “Oceanic Letter” for almost ten years. Now I am publisher and editor-in-chief of the online magazine Polska Canada. I interviewed Nobel Prize winner Joseph Brodsky, Canadian composer Marjan Mozetich and many others. My journalism is devoted to subjects silenced in the mainstream media. I have written articles on Freedom Convoy for readers in Poland, and I am publishing summaries of uncovered news which matters to our freedoms and fight against a liberal, globalist agenda and political correctness narrative. In 2018 together with Canadians Captains Barry and Matt Sheehy and Paul Sheehy I went to Poland, invited by Polish Government officials, to honour Polish and Canadian soldiers, who fought in WWII. I have made a video, documenting the trip.

Right now I am in Poland for personal reasons, but also to cover the dangerous pro-war propaganda and Poland’s involvement in the conflict in Ukraine. I would love to contribute to Canadian independent media coverage of the complex situation in Europe, and share my experiences with my fellow Canadians. I am thinking of short video presentations and brief articles, written from the point of view of a Polish Canadian, who has roots in European culture.
