Atlanta's Piedmont Park played backdrop for another 'recreational riot' of reported middle-and high schoolers enabled by weak city leadership. A female teen was murdered and another wounded.
No suspect(s) identified as of this posting. Condolences to these girls' families.
The fact this happened on the date of Dr. Martin Luther King's assassination is a bitter irony. Sums up contemporary challenges in the community:
