As a lifelong science fiction, paranormal and philosophy fan, my view on the political mainstreaming of what were formerly known as UFOs or 'unidentified flying objects' is succinct—decide for yourselves. This once-fringe topic is steadily being brought to the forefront lately. Theories abound as to why.
Here's some relevant content from political commentators who usually don't weigh in on such weighty, esoteric matters:
