Even in the Midst of Cold, Hunger and Socialist/Communist Country Takeovers, God Does Not Turn His Back On Us

He is Risen;

Each and every Easter Sunday repeats a re-telling of what actually happened in the the Fullness of Time Between Christ in the Tomb and His Glorious Sunday morning Resurrection.

It’s the kind of news that even after nearly 2000 years never comes to an end. But the news reports of our day—so much of it now fake—go far out of their way to ignore Reality and Truth.

The Real News is the Truth because the Truth of Almighty God’s only Begotten Son resurrecting from Good Friday’s Tomb, has never changed and never will.

The most glorious Truth of all time is The Passion of the Christ, because our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, not only resurrected from the tomb, but went on to live as He always had—even to this day still out there in Galilee saving souls and healing the sick.

It was St. Peter who left us the perfect description of Jesus when Jesus asked him Who He was: “Thou art Christ, the Son of the living God". (Matthew 16:16)

Jesus is the living Son of God, leaving His Footprints in the sand and dust all over the Earth where we all, believers and non-believers alike, still struggle to survive.

It gives me goosebumps contemplating the words of God’s Holy Angels greeting the first comers to the Easter morning Tomb: “He is not here, for he is risen, as he said. Come and see where the Lord was laid.” (Matthew 28:6)

And goosebumps, too when contemplating how a risen Jesus called out “Mary, Mary” to a tearful Mary Magdalene, who coming to the tomb on the first Easter Morning, found it empty.

It was on devout Catholic Ann Barnhardt’s admirable blog that I first read the story of Mary Magdalene not recognizing the Resurrected Jesus wearing a gardener’s hat. (Ann Barnhardt, April 1, 2024)

In John 20:14-15, Mary Magdalene mistakes the resurrected Jesus for a gardener at the empty tomb, a detail symbolizing him as the "new Adam" tending to creation. Artists like Rembrandt often depict this scene with Jesus wearing a broad, floppy straw hat and holding tools, highlighting his unrecognizable, humble appearance in the garden.

So few earth-bound humans have heard the divine Voice of Jesus, nor His Holy Mother Mary, in her role of Our Lady of Guadalupe, calling out to Juan Diego on Tepeyac..”Juan, Juan dearest”.

All of this takes place in the Biblical Fullness of Time.

So on this particular Easter morning, I have come to understand the meaning of in the passage of the Fullness of Time.

Like so many others, living in a nightmare world, with steely determination not to live or die in socialist-communist Canada, I have come to realize that it is not want I want,—but what God Almighty wants that truly matters the most.

I pray more fervently than ever before that it is God’s Will and not my own that should be done.

No one on Earth can overlook or ignore our Lord and Savior’s glorious Resurrection on this and all other Easter Sundays.

We can only humbly bow our heads and pray.

Easter Meets Christmas:

From Canada Free Press Archives:

A"Christmas Card” (Dec. 23, 2004)

“Every Christmas I remember the true story of a certain bearded Russian monk, whose courageous words marked what was then the coming collapse of Communism.
“Dr. Warren H. Carroll, Professor of History at Christendom College, best relates the story, which should be shouted from the rooftops.
"In 1990, the next to last year of his (Mikhail Gorbachev’s) power and of the existence of the Soviet Union, the traditional Communist May Day parade through Red Square in Moscow was followed by a people’s parade calling for an end to Communist rule, with men carrying placards reading, `Down with the Party!’, `Down with the Cult of Lenin!’, `Marxism-Leninism is on the rubbish heap of history!’
"But the demonstrator best remembered from that day was the long-bearded monk from the Russian Orthodox monastery at Zagorsk, carrying a life-sized crucifix, seven feet tall, who stood before Lenin’s tomb facing the relic of the dead ultimate revolutionary and his living heirs, and cried out to Gorbachev in a voice of thunder: `Mikhail Sergeyevich, Christ is risen! `"
“It was on Christmas Day, the following year that the incredible collapse of Communism happened after 74 long years--a lifetime.
“Gorbachev, who has never personally renounced communism, now operates on American soil, working with Prime Minister Paul Martin’s advisor Maurice Strong to replace the Ten Commandments with the United Nations-sanctioned Earth Charter.
"Powerful as this duo is, they are only mortals, and the Ten Commandments written on the human heart are not so easy to erase by mere mortals.
"The most powerful forces in the universe are spiritual and not material. The spirit can do what walls and tanks and weapons cannot. Communism failed because it didn’t factor in the things of the spirit." (Why Communism Collapsed, Homiletics.com).
“The story of the Russian monk can warm even the loneliest Christmas.
“And translated, the earliest biblical passage ever to be found in ancient artifacts would make the most inspirational Christmas card for Christians everywhere.
“The words were unearthed with the discovery of ancient silver scrolls inside a burial cave west of Old Jerusalem.
“Found in a 1979 archeological discovery, the verse is from the Bible, Numbers 6:24-26. They are the same words contained in the final Benediction at Mass, intoned by Catholic priests in all corners of the globe.
"May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord cause His Face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord lift up His Countenance upon you and grant you peace."

Wishing everyone out there, a most Blessed Easter 2026.
