When Stanley Kubrick made "Eyes Wide Shut", we left the movie theater a bit dazed, a bit disgusted by the director's fantasy, who presented viewers with a vision of an unreal world in which eccentric, degenerate elites met for strange rituals, resembling a party, imperceptibly transforming into a black mass and plunging into the dark underworld of crime.

It seemed that we had watched yet another of those unreal, interesting films that had little to do with reality. We did not expect that the last work of the cult director would probably become the cause of his mysterious death.

All the more, no one predicted that the plot of Kubrick's artistic film would turn out to be a grim document of our times, in which evil is rampant everywhere, is glorified at the expense of good and normality, pushed into the catacombs of the followers of fringe minority with the unacceptable views.

We live in a fictional world, a terrifying grand spectacle, written and directed by psychopaths who probably have a great time watching this grotesque and tragic global theater. Third-rate actors are employed as leaders of states, capable of repeating sequences but incapable of human reflexes, independent decisions and improvisation. There has been a complete inversion of values, implementing George Orwell's grim vision. Talking about peace is considered treason. Disoriented citizens are presented with breakneck statements that testify to the madness of contemporary doctrines. "Today we will not say 'Never again war’”--declare politicians and this is globally repeated, like a mantra.

They are sometimes invited to parties organized by Diddi and others like him.

They are caught in their weaknesses, misdemeanors and crimes. They will always be loyal and obedient, but are not the ones who penetrate the walls in masks with beaks and goat skulls, to point a crooked finger at the victims--entire nations, manipulated and helpless societies, who are subjecting themselves to an increasingly obvious tyranny.

Our real torturers remain hidden, but they are the ones who will give the signal to start the orgy and the apocalyptic war.
