As I looked at the prone figure of the attempted presidential assassin taken alive after an assault upon the 2026 White House Correspondents Dinner, I wondered what led him to this infamous decision?

Theories and rumors abound. What's clear is this thirty-one year old with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master's in Computer Science has undertaken a life-altering miscalculation.

While his background, real and imagined, is under intense scrutiny, I strongly suspect his California background and its decidedly anti-Trump environment provides likely motive for this radical departure from tutoring and other less tactical pursuits.

That's the obvious suspicion.

I'm more curious about deeper motivations because, on the surface at least, few would picture such an academic high achiever ending up shirtless and disarmed on the ground after being arrested for trying to storm an event attended by the President of the United States, among other dignitaries.

His calculations obviously missed how misguided this course of action was from inception to implementation. Even as a reported guest in the hotel, his sprint through manned metal detectors was stopped before reaching suspected high profile targets. Instead of changing history, all he changed, at least in the short-term, was his own life trajectory. And that allegedly of his sister, whose professional profile is also making the rounds online.

I'm all ears for his backstory. I'm sure it'll be a 'doozy.'
