New Years Resolution: Calling for Peace With Anti-Trump TDS Americans

Wishing All Annum Novum Felicemque: "A Happy and prosperous New Year!"

Happiest Tidings: Wishing all Americans the happiest year since recorded history began. The topic here is to announce -- we only have the possibility for peace in America if the TDS Trump derangement syndrome folks are willing to bury the hatchet. But Trump Derangement Syndrome lurks behind every pleasant political discussion, like a menacing feral canine. Surely, as mature Americans we can bridge the gap and find 3 more years of blissful co-existence.

Much is written on TDS. But Wikki takes the cake on a concise definition:</p

"Trump derangement syndrome (TDS) is a pejorative term used to describe negative reactions to U.S. President Donald Trump characterized as irrational & disconnected from Trump's actual policy positions. The term has mainly been used by Trump supporters to discredit criticism of him, as a way of reframing the discussion by suggesting that his opponents are incapable of accurately perceiving the world, thus making TDS an informal fallacy. Some journalists use the term to call for restraint when judging Trump's statements and actions. The term is also used to describe the nature of Trump supporters in their unwavering support of the president."

Many Americans suffer from TDS, are unable to be fairminded, and blast the worst accusations upon Trump’s every decision. In fact, that’s the purpose of the Mainstream Media’s broadcasting. So how is Demonization practiced?

Science Direct defines Demonization:

Demonization is a suprahuman metaphor that transforms other people into demons, devils, or witches. Through demonization other people are attributed supernatural powers with the aim of exacerbating their dangerousness, and thus legitimizing their elimination.”

Rick Bellingham offers profound thoughts on the dangers of demonization, summarized here:

"Demonizing persons or groups means swiftly attributing malevolent intent to an individual and then extrapolating that judgment to the entire group. Demonization is an easy means of simplifying the complexities of human behavior by reducing individuals or groups to caricatures of pure evil, emerging from fear, ignorance, or a desire to justify prejudice. In demonizing others, we strip them of their humanity, transforming them into menacing threats that warrant our hostility and distrust.
"The consequences of demonization are profound and far-reaching. It fosters an “us versus them” mentality, erecting insurmountable barriers between individuals and communities. Demonization also perpetuates a cycle of conflict. When we perceive others as inherently evil, it’s more likely to interpret their actions in the most unfavorable light. The media often plays a significant role in the process of demonization.
"The antidote to demonization lies in cultivating empathy, understanding, & willingness to accept open dialogue. Critical thinking and media literacy are essential tools for combating demonization. It is crucial to question the information we consume, evaluate the sources, and be mindful of potential biases. By engaging in thoughtful analysis, we can resist the allure of sensationalism…"

Journalists Birth Anti-Trump Lies: Let’s recall that Journalists have struggled hardest to be fair. See Melanie Phillips:

"I always believed journalism’s duty was to uphold truth over lies, follow evidence where it led & fight abuses of power wherever found. I gradually realized, however, the left was not on the side of truth, reason, & justice, but promoted ideology, malice, & oppression. Rather than fighting abuse of power, it embodied it. Through demonizing its enemies, the left undermined the possibility of finding common ground, all but destroying rational discourse -- because it substitutes insult & abuse for argument & reasoned disagreement. More devastating, by twisting the meaning of words such as liberal, compassion, justice, & many others into their opposites, it hijacked the center ground of politics." (See Phillips, Melanie. Guardian Angel: My Journey from Leftism to Sanity.)

Melanie Phillips Sums Up Modern Liberalism: Melanie believes all liberals live for their feelings. The Primacy of the individual: Modern liberalism is victim to a mindset where the individual is paramount, forgetting the need for social obligations. Moral relativism: Phillips links corruption of liberalism to the tenets of moral relativism, stating if "rightness is simply what is right-for-me," it erodes morality leading to chaos or tyranny. Loss of self-discipline: Phillips says traditional liberals took for granted freedom depended upon self-discipline, whereas modern libertarians see all such restraint as repressive, demanding freedom from attachments to family, culture, and institutions.

Having a Peaceful & Prosperous 2026: In America we have one president at a time, although Joe Biden was so handicapped, others in his Party filled in. It’s not unreasonable to ask our fellow citizens to give Trump a break while he goes after graft and battles the rule enemies of America -- like drug lords murdering a hundred thousand per year.

Literal Demons & War For Nihilism: Consider, though, when trying to understand leftists who claim certain persons, like Trump are literal satanic demons. What is the purpose? Understand that philologist Friedrich Nietzsche was a person who gave up on Christians, Christ & God and asked others to follow him into the war of lawless nihilism, before he died. Ponder this description from “Nietzsche, Nihilism and the Philosophy of the Future”:

"Regarding the future, it is true that Nietzsche is the greatest recent practitioner of what Leo Strauss identified as a distinguishing feature of modern (as opposed to classical) writing beginning with Machiavelli. Nietzsche is a writer who “begins a war against the established order—a new war in a new land against a new enemy of the highest possible reputation,” but who is “a captain without an army,” who “must recruit his army …only by means of books”...

Nihilism as Emptiness: Friedrich Nietzsche became the role model of all leftism by claiming God is Dead and ALL RULES THEREFORE CEASE. Nihilism is the absence of law or rules. Consider modern leftists to be under this rubric, As a true leftist follower of Marx believes any action is legitimate as long as it results in power. (See P. H. Vigor A Guide to Marxism and its Effects on Soviet Development Here, Vigor admits Marxists believe no action is wrong if it aids Marxism) and consider that the reason the Democrat minority in America is now so angry is because they followed Nietzsche and gave up all rules and did anything they wanted against Trump. This is still backfiring and mightily blew up in their face.

US Democrats & Leftists, as Marxists, are Not Afraid to Use Violence; See AIE:

"The current source of protesting and cancel culture, however, is coming overwhelmingly from within the extremely liberal wing of the Democratic Party. This segment of the Democratic Party, albeit fairly small but with an outsized impact, is causing significant damage to our civic health by making it hard for many to question particular ideas and norms and disagree as so many Americans now live in fear of being protested or canceled by these aggressive mobs."

Having Argued Trump Should be Respected by Democrats, let’s agree for the new year 2026 that we have more to gain than lose by refusing to Demonize Trump or war over basic party differences. If Democrats are sincere, they should prep for 2028 while embracing peace.

In Closing: Overall, let’s end by noting our Christian nation has a peaceful and loyal way of respecting each other while keeping the peace.

Now, Consider Christian Patriotism (not nationalism): Christian patriotism, rooted in the Bible, involves loving your country, honoring its government (Romans 13:1, 1 Peter 2:17), praying for leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-2), and contributing to its good (Jeremiah 29:5-7), while maintaining ultimate loyalty to God and His Kingdom, avoiding the idolatry of nationalism where the nation supersedes faith. It's about being salt and light in your nation, promoting justice and mercy (Micah 6:8), and recognizing God established nations (Acts 17:26).

SHALOM & Happy 2026!!!
