Reopened Alcatraz From Home of Al Capone To Living Quarters of Nancy Pelosi?

President Donald Trump’s plan to reopen Alcatraz as a ‘state-of-the-art secure prison,’ under his recently announced $152M congressional budget request, could already have former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other politicians on the run.

More than ironically, Alcatraz, once home to mob boss Al Capone, could become home to long alleged suspected Insider Trade Queen Pelosi and other Insider Trading congressional colleagues.

“President Donald Trump first pushed the idea last year, directing the Bureau of Prisons, the Department of Justice and other federal agencies to reopen and expand Alcatraz to detain what he called America’s "most ruthless and violent offenders.” (Fox News, April 4, 2026)

"REBUILD, AND OPEN ALCATRAZ! the president said in a Truth Social post last May. "For too long, America has been plagued by vicious, violent, and repeat Criminal Offenders, the dregs of society, who will never contribute anything other than Misery and Suffering.

“Located in San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz has been closed since 1963 and currently operates as a popular tourist destination under the National Park Service.”

Last May, Canada Free Press/Americas Free Press columnist Phil Dollison, who grew up on Alcatraz, sent his May 18, 2025 column, along with a personal letter to President Trump, telling him he was on the right track wanting to bring Alcatraz back as a prison.

Phil, son of Alcatraz Associate Warden Arthur Dollison, and his siblings grew up on Alcatraz.

He was both surprised and overjoyed when the president wrote him back:

“Hi Judi,

“You can imagine how excited I was when I received a big envelope from the White House today. It was in response to the article you did last year about my living on Alcatraz and wanting to be the liaison for the turnover of Alcatraz back to being a Federal Prison.

“I hope you received it. It was signed by Donald J Trump. Let’s see what happens…Thanks so much again.

"Rebuilding Alcatraz into a modern prison is a stupid notion that would be nothing more than a waste of taxpayer dollars and an insult to the intelligence of the American people," Pelosi wrote. "Alcatraz is a historic museum that belongs to the public, and San Franciscans will not stand for Washington turning one of our most iconic landmarks into a political prop.”

"After resigning from Lennar in May of 2004 – immediately before the shipyard conveyance legislation went before numerous City boards and commissions for approval – Laurence Pelosi joined the board of directors of the influential urban development think tank SPUR (San Francisco Planning and Urban Research) and went to work for Morgan Stanley.

"At a Dec. 14, 2003, hearing of the San Francisco Redevelopment Commission compounded by arrests, civil rights violations and invasions on the constitutional rights of the free press, the Redevelopment Agency approved a Disposition and Development Agreement granting Lennar Corp. of Miami, a company that enjoyed annual sales of $9 billion, exclusive development rights for the shipyard.

"San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom memorialized his violations of state and local ethics laws in January of 2005 by signing into law the Hunters Point Shipyard redevelopment measures he sponsored before the Board of Supervisors and accepting, in an official ceremony, the transfer of Shipyard Parcel A from the Secretary of the Navy in exchange for one dollar!

…The agreement came a few weeks after the Navy sent Newsom a letter saying it was having doubts about going ahead with a January 2004 symbolic agreement that had been announced, with potentially embarrassing fanfare, in Washington by Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, former Mayor Willie Brown and Navy Secretary Gordon England. According to the Chronicle, Newsom met in the Capitol offices of "Aunt Nancy" on March 31, 2004.

"In attendance were Navy Assistant Secretary Hansford T. Johnson, Sens. Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein and Rep. John Murtha, D-Penn., the ranking Democrat on the House Military Appropriations subcommittee, brought in by Pelosi to convince the Navy the time for delays had passed. Murtha made it clear he wanted a binding agreement signed "by Wednesday."

"The Navy signed the accord despite new concerns the Radiological Affairs Support Office raised about the safety of the property for residential development due to the release of a massive investigation into the use of radioactive materials at the shipyard from 1939 to 2003. base at the Hunters Point Shipyard. Anderson, a principle partner in Treasure Island Community Development, held a fundraiser in his Sacramento office in March to help Newsom retire his $400,000 campaign debt."

"Unfortunately, while House Speaker Pelosi plays a leading role in the Trump Impeachment Inquiry, no one can hear the sound of scratching on the door coming from the skeletons in her corruption closet.

"One doesn’t have to dig too far into the past to unearth Nancy Pelosi’s role in both the Presidio and Hunter’s Point Shipyard development."

"On October 22, 2018, Pelosi sent out a press release on securing $60 million for Hunters Point:

"Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi issued this statement after securing $60.4 million for Hunters Point re-testing and clean-up in the FY2019 Energy and Water, Legislative Branch, and Military Construction and Veterans Affairs omnibus spending bill:

"Meanwhile, how was it even possible that the hungry-for-power Democrats allowed Nancy Pelosi to be their House Speaker?

"As CFP asked yesterday in its story exposing Pelosi as the "Real Russian Colluder": Where’s the televised Congressional Inquiry into Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi?

Meanwhile, CFP/AFP columnist Phil Dollison was on Alcatraz when it served as an inescapable prison built for imprisoning “the worst of the worst.”

Could be that he was prescient, now that Pelosi and colleagues could eventually be the “worst of the worst” at a rejuvenated Alcatraz?

Dollison was spot-on in writing that President Trump was “on the right track” in wanting to have Alcatraz returned as a ‘state-of-the-art secure prison.’
