Turning Down the Heat

Recently, the medclass="smallpix"ia, various academics, and even Obama have been trying to blame Donald Trump specifically, and conservatives in general for the death of Charlie Kirk. The Left's argument is that Right wing complaints about Left wing violent acts and accusations that the Right are Nazis and Fascists have provoked violent responses. That is the same logic used by abusers and rapists against their victims. "If you get hurt, it is your own fault because you are struggling. If you would just relax and accept things, you would be fine, and you might even enjoy it.". No.... NO, NO, NO!

Stop telling the truth that the Left has been calling us Nazis, Fascists, racists, bigots, homophobes, transphobes...

They are saying that if only we relaxed and accepted their transformation of society into their own image, if we accepted their perversions and distortions and stopped struggling against them, there wouldn't be any violence. Just stop struggling and no-one will need to get hurt.

What they are really saying is stop telling the truth. Stop telling the truth that the Left has been calling us Nazis, and Fascists, and racists, and bigots, and homophobes, and transphobes, and all sorts of other vile labels. Stop telling the truth that it has been the far-left organizations like Antifa, and BLM, that have wreaked violence against us, that have destroyed our cities, burned down businesses, murdered police and citizens, and then tried to blame the Right because we objected to their ideology.

You on the Left have branded whites as inherently racist, simply because of the color of their skin. You accuse Christians of bigotry and hate because we oppose the perversions of the Left and seek to teach better ways to live. You have destroyed lives and careers simply because someone disagreed with you. You have violently blocked gatherings with conservative speakers because you believe they will say things that contradict your lies, while protesting loudly that your freedom of speech is being infringed by those who disagree with you.

You claim we are destroying democracy whenever a conservative wins an election, and whenever we try to ensure fair elections, but feel justified in committing all sorts of election fraud to ensure that your candidates win.

People who accuse the Right of being Fascist, either have no understanding of what Fascism actually is, or they are deliberately lying. Fascism is a form of socialism where industry is privately owned, but state directed, and coercion, including violence and intimidation is used to ensure compliance with State directives. Lenin placed it on the right side of the communism/socialism spectrum, but still within the borders of socialism. It is not, and never has been a doctrine or ideology of the Conservative right.

Left continues to promote the false claim that Fascism is a product of the Right

In the spirit of the "big lie" promoted by Nazis, the Left continues to promote the false claim that Fascism is a product of the Right. By repeating the lie endlessly, they have convinced millions of their follows that the lie is true and that violence against Conservatives is fully justified in a struggle of good against evil, where they see themselves as the forces of good. Many of the deluded Left firmly believe that they are the fighters for truth, justice, and all that is good, and that any action is justified to destroy the evil conservative Right. They have been deceived and cannot see the evil they do, the evil they have accepted, the evil they promote and espouse. Firmly convinced they are right, they call anyone who disagrees with them evil. No doubt or question of their positions is allowed to enter their hermetically sealed minds. Unable to examine evidence for themselves, they depend on the opinions of others like themselves for confirmation and validation—a kind of evil echo chamber.

The Left claims Christians are ”white supremacists" who use Christianity to promote oppression and racist bigotry. They conveniently omit the fact that of the nearly two billion Christians in the world, the great majority of them are not white. Indeed, it is Christianity that has freed hundreds of millions from Socialist and Communist oppression. Have these people been deluded into accepting the idea of a "white Savior", or have they instead learned the truth that can set them free?

Some will say that encouraging accountability among the Left is against the Christian principle of forgiveness, and that we should not seek to have them fired or otherwise held to account for their hostile words and actions. However, it is also a Christian principle that one should do unto others as we would wish done to us. 

The Left has been telling us for years how they wish to be treated, cancelling us, destroying our homes and businesses, assaulting us, and more. We just haven't been listening. Let us give them what they have desired for these many years. There is even a game theory name for this approach—“tit for tat", and it is one of the few generally optimal strategies for most situations.

There can be no open, rational discourse with someone who denies your right to speak.

The Left has been claiming for years that speech is actual violence. Now they deny that all the things they said against conservatives and MAGA and the Right were violence by their own definition, and instead try to label objections to their hateful speech as violence against them. The Left has been claiming that Conservatives hate gays and transgenders and immigrants, and want to enslave women and blacks. Widespread belief in these false claims have led thousands to feel justified in their hate and violence.

Tolerance has been a fundamental value of the Right for centuries, at least since the Enlightenment. It can be summarized in the attitude: "you do your thing, and I'll do mine." The guiding principle is that every person has the right to do as they see fit, so long a they do not harm or attempt to coerce others. This principle has guided not only America, but also Western Civilization for the last 300 years. It is this principle the Left has chosen to violate. Now they lie and claim it is the Right that broke this principle of civilized behavior.

Tens of thousands of individuals on the Left, including teachers, business owners, politicians, internet personalities as well as private individuals expressed joy and celebration at Mr. Kirk's death, offering such comments as "good riddance", "got one", "it's ok to kill Nazis", and many other expressions of hate and approval of violence to suppress free speech.

The Left are largely superficial thinkers and readily accept these false claims as fact. They see themselves a virtuous agents eliminating evil Nazis and Fascists that prevent the establishment of a just and equitable society. They loudly proclaim that "Hate has no home here", when what they really mean is "... unless you are a Conservative, a MAGA member, a Republican, or anyone who disagrees with us, in which case we hate you to death.". They hate anyone who expresses the truth of these matters and who exposes the hypocrisy of their positions.

Charlie Kirk is not the first to pay a price for telling unpopular truths and confronting hypocrisy, and will not be the last. But like truth-tellers of the past, his death has ignited a response, the like of which has been unseen for decades.

The Left has finally gone too far. The rhetoric of their political leaders, of their handmaidens in the media, of their teachers and university professors, of all those who have passed on without thinking their messages of hate and false accusations that those on the Right are Nazis and Fascists and worse has finally borne a bitter fruit.

They have sown the wind, now let them reap the whirlwind. The tolerant Right has finally reached its limit. The intolerant Left must now face the consequences of their hate. Enough is enough.

If they really want to turn down the heat, the Left needs to stop calling conservatives Nazis and Fascists. The Left needs to stop cancelling people who express support for MAGA and Republicans and Christianity and conservatism.

If they really want to turn down the heat, the Left needs to stop trying to force acceptance of LGBT and Trans values in schools and in society in general. What someone wants to do in their own life is their own business, but stop trying to force us to approve of it or accept it as normal.

If they really want to turn down the heat, stop with the racist rhetoric. Whites aren't automatically racist. Any race can be racist if the color of a person's skin is more important than the content of their character.

And especially if they really want to turn down the heat, they need to stop the violence against the Right. Stop the riots, the arson, the destruction, and murder. Act like civilized members of society instead of barbaric sociopathic criminals. For those on the Left, if you think you have a better system, show respect for others and engage in discussion to try to convince them. If they remain unpersuaded, perhaps it is because the ideas aren't so good as you think they are. Don't assume that people disagree because they are stupid or ignorant or evil. Stop indulging your perverse schadenfreude. Recognize that you are the ones who are vicious, cruel, and hate filled. It is time to grow up and act like adults instead of spoiled children.
