What constitutes a Nazi, today? If you ask modern liberals and mainstream media, Elon Musk is Dr. Goebbels redivivus.
When the pro-Trump billionaire extended his right arm waving to the crowd at a Trump inauguration event, mainstream media went ballistic. Speculation was rampant: Had Elon Musk actually given a “Heil Hitler” salute?
In Germany, the government and media are equally paranoid of Musk. His support of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party makes him a candidate for the “He must be a Nazi” grist mill. What is not spoken of (but definitely recognized by the government and media) is that AfD is now the second-biggest party in Germany. Yet, it remains a pariah among the German establishment in order to protect its own political agenda.
The AfD platform is available online in English. It is there for public scrutiny. Musk has called it “common sense,” and that's how it reads to anyone who is not insecure about protecting one's political agenda (power) which the public has rejected. The recent no confidence vote on the government in Germany has sent the people back to the ballot.
This past week in his visit to The Munich Security Conference, Vice President Vance argued that mainstream parties in the EU are “kind of terrified of their own people.” He alluded to the anti-immigration AfD party, which despite electoral success struggles to find coalition partners which Left and centrist factions label “far right” – extremist.
But, people who depend on the modern liberal press for their information (“news”) have no idea what AfD really believes.
Such tripe has out-distanced whatever usefulness it once might have had (if any at all). For too long, merely being accused of Nazi sympathies has been enough to discredit good, honest people from the community of the respectable.
The French writer Renaud Camus -- author of the ‘Great Replacement’ theory – asserts that it is impossible (and dangerous) to deny that European civilization is being radically altered by mass migration policies supported by generations of elites, on both the Left and the Right.
The treatment Camus and others have endured at the hands of the government and mainstream media demonstrates how effectively modern liberal elitists can condemn (as “modern day Nazis”) anyone who opposes them. Their efforts to humiliate and discredit their opposition – without having to deal with their arguments – are unfortunately most effective.
We see the same occurrence with respect to Hungary and Slovakia. For the most part, the typical person in Western Europe, Britain, and the US (if they “know” anything at all about these countries) is that they are ruled by, ostensibly, harsh authoritarians – Viktor Orbán and Robert Fico, respectively. They “know” this because that’s what mainstream media “feeds” them, daily.
It seems that the media and elites in Western countries perpetuate the deception about Hungary and Slovakia and other recalcitrant voices in the EU. The idea is to prevent their own populations from hearing legitimate advocacy of policies contrary to the “accepted narrative” and demanding change.
When Donald Trump first took office in 2017, the elitist mainstream media – globally – filled with dire predictions of America's descent into fascism. Noted academics warned grimly of the rise of populism – comparing it with Hitler's rise to power.
The Left, which controls academia and the media, maintains this vile and irresponsible mantra. Indeed, as the “little corporal himself wrote, in Mein Kampf, people can be brought to believe a “big lie,” if you tell it often enough, and with enough confidence.
The United States is now undergoing what some have called “draining the swamp.” Donald Trump is using his power of executive order to increase unemployment in DC. He tapped Elon Musk (now head of DOGE) and those of similar ilk to “get out the broom and sweep out the house.”
Unlike 2017, when the Left successfully trashed Trump and his team as crypto-cronies, this year, after being trounced last November, they are rudderless. Nobody listens to them anymore. Indicative of this is the collapse of ratings and the hemorrhage of “talent” from CNN and MSNBC.
Four years of Joe Biden’s rule brought disaster upon disaster, especially with mass migration. According to Pew Research, there are now an estimated 11-12 million illegal immigrants in the US.
American voters assessed the cost of believing the “Big Lie" about Trump and fascism and decided not to be deceived by it anymore. Will European voters finally acknowledge the same truth about their own more conservative politicians – even though the Left and Centrists (out of fear for their own agendas) routinely vilify them as – “the far right”?
European politicians and media figures are eager to demonize Elon Musk and censor his X platform because Musk refuses to live by the “Big Lie.” And on X, Europeans can now hear from pariah politicians like Orban, Fico, Bardella (France), Weidel (Germany), Salvini (Italy) and Babis (Czech) and make up their own minds.
While it is certainly true that Europe should be vigilant against the return of Nazism, it is also true that the ruling class has become, themselves, fanatical (fascist?). They prevent Europe from pursuing sensible policies on mass migration, energy needs and foreign affairs that protect their liberal democracies from grave threats – like the EU’s current ruling elite.
The “Big Lie” is leading to the demise of Europe. Fear of Hitler, and of being accused of being fascist, has left Europeans paralyzed in the face of mortal threats to their civilizational existence. When people are more afraid of Elon Musk waving to his supporters in a particular way than they are of mass migration, economic stagnation and cultural decline, then they have embraced an ideological toxin that might very well be their undoing.
Vice President Vance said it succinctly:
