When the Wicked Perish, the People Rejoice

The Big Beautiful Bill has passed and is now law. In order for it to be successful, though, we need to have a resurgence in the American economy, similar to what has been happening in Argentina. Cuts in harmful regulations, coupled with "priming the pump" with economic incentives and relief for the middle class are key to restoring growth and middle class prosperity in a healthy economy.

Can it be done? What stands in the way?

In a word—uncertainty. Will the Trump administration manage to overcome the problems created by Covid and the four destructive years of the Biden administration, or will the Left win out in destroying the middle class and imposing Socialism? We can look at some of the reasons for this uncertainty.

National pundits have been telling us the economy is in great shape, with millions of new jobs being created for American workers. Unfortunately, most of those jobs appear to be at the low end of the wage scale, while higher level job growth is stagnant or declining. Many of the best paying jobs are being offshored, especially in fields such as software development, and engineering. These jobs typically pay 4-8 times minimum wage or more, and provide critical support for a broad middle class.

These software and design jobs are particularly significant as they typically have little or no associated manufacturing work, so if the work is done offshore, but paid from American firms, it is a net loss because it does not contribute to other local jobs. Normally, an income goes to purchase food, clothing, housing, entertainment, and other goods and services from a local economy, supporting the providers of those items. Incomes sent offshore do not participate in the local economy, but rather support the distant offshore economy.

Overuse of H1B visas have led to situations where foreign workers here on H1B status can direct work to firms in their home country while claiming that American workers are not qualified when they fail to satisfy arbitrary and unnecessary job requirements. "We tried to find American workers, but they just didn't meet our requirements, so we had to use our offshore friends."

Until it is clear that the Trump plan will work, employers are reluctant to commit to expensive higher level employees and will instead outsource work that can be quickly turned off at need, demand more of current employees, make-do with lower level workers, and generally hold off activities that would normally lead to business growth. While such timidity leads to the very low growth conditions they fear, no-one wants to take the risk of being wrong and commit to hiring.

Adding to the economic uncertainty is the social and political opposition of entrenched Progressive interests and Deep State actors. These people seek to destroy the middle class so that all that remains is a dependent peasantry with an elite ruling class—a kind of neo-feudalism. Of course, they expect to be the ones on top. The Trump plan, by strengthening and expanding the middle class, is a huge threat to these Progressive plans.

The current popularity of Socialist ideas is a direct outgrowth of the Progressive efforts to create a dependent populace. By falsely claiming that Socialism will "fairly" redistribute the wealth "stolen" by Capitalists, and that no-one will need to fear unemployment or financial ruin because a paternal big government will provide, people are lured into supporting ideas that sound good but have always failed wherever they have been tried. The only thing they succeed at is creating more misery, with a few elites at the top and bare subsistence at the bottom.

The growth of lawless activities contributes greatly to uncertainty. Large numbers of entitled government employees have been laid off, and are in states of high anxiety and anger—a dangerous combination. Reports have surfaced of groups of former USAID workers gathering to plot a "color revolution" against Trump, claiming that Trump has created a Fascist regime and they must act to restore democracy. Never mind that they have no idea of what Fascism is or that Trump was elected by a democratic process.

Such plotting is actual sedition. Fortunately, all these former employees are known, so if they actually try to implement their plans, they can be identified and neutralized. The danger is that many of the methods available to them have been applied successfully to provoke such color revolutions in other countries. The outcomes of such revolutions are universally bad for the citizens of those countries—witness Ukraine, Egypt, Venezuela, and a score of others. We don't want one here.

Besides covert activities, the Progressive Left has sponsored direct action to create social disruption, fear, and to provoke responses from authorities that can be held up as examples of Fascist or authoritarian acts. This approach of provoking a response from authorities is an old tactic of Socialist revolutions going back to the Russian revolution and even before. A proper response to such tactics involves gaining support of the local populations suffering from the riots, property destruction, and other activities, and then making a measured response against the perpetrators.

The FBI demonstrated great competence in tracking down and arresting peaceful protestors seeking an honest investigation into questions around the 2020 Presidential election. That same apparatus can be used to identify actual insurrectionists and terrorists such as Antifa, BLM, anti-ICE, and other violent actors. Portland, OR, or Los Angeles might be good places to start as the normal people there are getting quite fed up with these destructive antics. Mayors, other city officials, and even state governors who seek to impede enforcement activities should also be at risk and arrested if they actively participate in obstructive acts.

At the root of much of the uncertainty, though, is the two-tier justice system the Left has promoted. Our nation depends on a fair and equitable justice system that applies equally to all. An honest justice system is essential to maintaining trust in our system of government. A government of the people must be accountable to the people. If it is not, it becomes a tyranny.

Where is justice not only for those directly affected, but for a nation betrayed by its representatives?

Despite all the documented lies to Congress, and other harmful actions, people like Dr. Fauci and Bill Gates are still walking free. James Comey, John Brennan, and many other Deep State actors who lied and attempted to manipulate the 2016, 2020, and even 2024 elections need to be investigated and charged. Any conservative who had done what it appears they have done would have been jailed long ago.

The recent events around the Epstein files are a major negative example. While it is possible that revealing participants and activities may have national security implications, or may even be destabilizing to many governments, the administration should at least be honest about why the records cannot be released. The American people are not mushrooms. Nor are they, like so many inside the beltway believe, stupid sheep.

Even if the client lists have been destroyed, good investigative work should be able to recreate them. Consider all the witnesses involved. What of the girls and young women who "serviced" those patrons? An enterprise of that scale needs a significant staff of cooks, maintenance, gardeners, cleaning staff, and many other services. Where are they? Who did they see and when?

If we had real investigative journalism like we used to have, there are a dozen major stories to be found. Where are the legal enquiries? Where are the investigations? Where are the activities that would restore trust in critical institutions? Where is justice not only for those directly affected, but for a nation betrayed by its representatives?

Those preoccupied with power and control are often contemptuous of those who do not share their values. Yet it is all those of us working each in his own domain who keep things running and who make the nation great.

It is time to come clean, time to defend the Republic and its citizens

The power obsessed can interfere with those activities and destroy our nation, but they do not contribute to its success. It is time to remove their grubby little hands from the levers of Deep State power and get back to creating the wealth and opportunity the world needs.

It will take some time to restart the economy. Meanwhile, the Left will be doing everything it can to destroy trust and create chaos. So long as the situation persists, the Left can claim the moral high ground of defending poor, helpless, migrants seeking a better life for their families; the Progressives will claim they are saving democracy from Fascism; Democrats will continue to feed at the public trough; misanthropists will continue to push sterility drugs and killer compounds falsely called "vaccines". As long as there is no accountability for sedition, for obstruction of justice, for perjury, for election manipulation, for fraud, even for mass murder, the mistrust and uncertainty will grow.

It is time to come clean, time to defend the Republic and its citizens. A few arrests with full disclosure as to why they are arrested will go far to restoring trust and will have immediate effect. There are more than enough examples that can be made where there is no question of guilt, no adequate defense, and the crimes are against the people and not any political figure.

If those whose job it is to prosecute these crimes won't do it, we must find those who will in an honest, thorough, and transparent manner to show that the law is impartial and applies to all, regardless of wealth, status, position or connections. Our economy, our people, our Republic deserves no less.
