When I grew up in the Golden State of California, it was considered the bellwether state leading the way for everything good that was happening in America. Since I left the state nearly 50 years ago, it has morphed into the Whacko State of California, which is still the bellwether state, but now focused on leading the way in everything bad that is happening in America.
The latest from the anti-American socialist California legislature is the idea to make investigative journalism illegal. It seems Nick Shirley has embarrassed the do-nothing California government regarding rampant fraud throughout the state. It would also seem to appear that the First Amendment to the United States Constitution only applies to favored media, not all media in California.
Do you recognize this? That is exactly what is done in communist and other totalitarian countries.
California, you most certainly have the government you deserve.

After a 55 year career as a professional pilot in the military, in law enforcement, in the private sector, and in federal civil service, I am now retired.
In many of these positions I repeatedly took an oath to defend the United States Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.
