After more than a week of debate and partisan posturing, we still don't have the SAVE Act passed. For those who might be confused about what the Act contains, it ONLY requires that a prospective voter provide proof of citizenship in order to register to vote, and that our voter rolls ONLY contain registrations for legal citizens. Most of the text is simply directions on how to modify the text of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRM93) in accordance with the SAVE Act provisions.
