OTTAWA, ON: Government data shows members of Parliament took a pay raise ranging between $7,900 and $15,800. MPs took their 14th pay raise in a row despite widespread opposition from Canadians.

“Canadians are supposed to be the boss and 80 per cent of Canadians said ‘no’ to another politician pay raise, but MPs didn’t listen and stuffed their pockets with more tax dollars,” said Franco Terrazzano, CTF Federal Director. “In what other job are you guaranteed a pay raise every year for 14 years regardless of your performance?”
