There are no secret interpretational skills needed to see what prophecy is predicting or promising. A bit of common sense and some deductive reasoning is all that is needed to understand prophecy.
Since one quarter of the Bible has to do with prophecy, we need only split all that it says into two categories.
The first category, consists of things Christ judges, destroys, or removes at his second coming. These things show exactly which behaviors are incorrect, sinful and ultimately destructive.
The second category, is a list of things Christ initiates, preserves, restores or rejuvenates when he returns.
