In 2019, Ukraine’s connection to Democrats was becoming clearer. Various officials who were connected to former Vice-President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama had engaged in activities designed to benefit private interests through influence peddling in Ukraine, often centered around Hunter Biden’s role at Burisma Holdings. It constituted a misuse of the “Biden Brand” for financial gain as the complicit mainstream media covered up the details of those interactions.
