In perhaps the most tragic development of America’s last century, marriage is largely abandoned, while childbirth rates crater, and countless youth reject a Christian theory of life. The most trenchant change over the last century is the disappearance of the notion humans are made in God’s image and that our purpose on earth is to Be Fruitful and Multiply. Further, that humans cannot follow God’s mission to create and replicate. Therefore, humans dropping out of the divine mission are inevitably lost and depressed.
